Sustainable by design

Everything ships with documentation and a handover — no black boxes, no key-person risk.

The failure mode we build against is the customisation or integration that only one person understands, so it can never be safely touched again once that person leaves. Every project ships with documentation of what was built and why, how it authenticates, where its logs live, and what to check first when something breaks, written for whoever inherits it next, not just for us.

A handover session covers the same ground out loud: what the system depends on, what happens if a downstream service goes down, and where the edges of the current scope sit if you want to extend it later. None of this is a black box we quietly maintain forever. If you ever need to move the work in-house or to another provider, the documentation is the artifact that makes that possible without a rebuild.

Part of Integration & Software Development

The most expensive software in most organisations is the spreadsheet bridging two systems that should be connected. Our in-house developers build robust, documented integrations — ERP to payroll, banking, e-commerce, government platforms — and custom portals, mobile apps and APIs where off-the-shelf ends.

Questions we hear about Integration & Software Development
Should we build custom software or buy off-the-shelf?

Buy when a standard process fits — it is faster, cheaper and vendor-maintained. Build when the process is your competitive edge, the integrations are complex, or nothing fits how you actually work. The middle path we often recommend: extend the platform you already own before building from scratch. And the honest truth about custom: its real cost arrives after go-live, so we budget maintenance from day one.

Why should our website talk to our ERP or CRM — isn't a contact form enough?

A form that emails an inbox loses leads to leave, sickness and full mailboxes. Wired into the CRM, every enquiry arrives instantly with its source and history attached, gets assigned automatically, and shows up in the pipeline your management already reads. This website works exactly that way — every form posts straight into our CRM. It is the cheapest sales improvement most businesses can make.

How long does an integration take to build?

It depends almost entirely on the systems at each end. Two modern platforms with documented APIs connect in days to weeks; a legacy system with no API takes longer and sometimes needs a different route entirely. We quote after seeing both systems — anyone who quotes before that is guessing.

Who maintains the integration after it goes live?

We do, on contract — and we build for it: every integration ships documented, monitored and logged end to end, with a handover pack so there is no black box and no key-person risk. If something fails at three in the morning, the failure is honest, visible and recoverable.
