PaySpace

Cloud-native, multi-country payroll built for African operations.

PaySpace runs legislation as a service across more than forty African countries on one platform. We implement and support it end to end, from Gaborone, with Botswana statutory compliance handled in the system, not in side spreadsheets.

What PaySpace gives you

Cloud-native payroll and HR

Nothing to install — legislation updates arrive as a service, not as a project, so statutory changes land in your payroll without a support ticket.

Built for African operations

Native, always-current legislation across more than forty African countries on a single platform with consolidated reporting — one platform instead of a per-country spreadsheet ritual.

Employee self-service

Payslips, leave and personal details off HR's desk and into employees' own hands, on any device.

Migration & parallel runs

Moving payroll is done with parallel runs and reconciliation to the cent — nobody's salary is the test case.

Payroll support when it counts

When payroll runs on the 25th, our support desk is reachable on the 25th — with penalty-backed response times on contract.

Why AccTech for PaySpace

Certified PaySpace consultants

Implementation and support delivered by certified PaySpace consultants, not generalists learning on your payroll.

Backed by the 4Sight alliance

Local decision-making in Gaborone, backed by the depth of the 4Sight group's multinational bench of accredited consultants across Botswana, Zambia, eSwatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Uganda and Kenya.

Botswana statutory compliance built in

Monthly PAYE remitted to BURS by the 15th on the ITW-7, the annual ITW-10 employer return with ITW-8 certificates, itemised payslips and five-year record retention — PaySpace maintains Botswana legislation as an always-current service.

Questions we hear
PaySpace or Sage 300 People — which should we choose?

We implement both, so we answer this on fit. PaySpace is cloud-native: nothing to install, legislative updates arrive automatically, priced per employee per month. Sage 300 People is deeply configurable — unlimited companies, complex rules, unions, multiple pay cycles — and suits larger employers with demanding requirements. Deployment preference, country footprint and HR depth decide it.

We operate in several countries — can PaySpace run all our payrolls?

Yes. PaySpace runs native, always-current legislation across more than forty African countries on a single platform with consolidated reporting, ending the per-country spreadsheet ritual and its penalty risk.

Can we switch to PaySpace mid-tax-year?

Yes. The requirement is accurate year-to-date take-on balances — taxable earnings, PAYE withheld, deductions — loaded into the new system so your annual certificates still reconcile. Best practice is to cut over at a clean boundary (Botswana's tax year starts 1 July), run at least one parallel pay period, and agree in writing who files the remaining returns.

What does PaySpace cost?

PaySpace is priced per employee per month by edition, with unlimited users and pay runs included. Nobody publishes Botswana price lists, and any figure quoted without your headcount and country footprint is a guess — send us those two numbers and you get a real quote.
